Dressing Your Baby for Cold Weather

Bundling your baby for cold weather is so important.  Whether going for a walk, running to the grocery store, or riding in the car headed to Grandma's for Christmas, keeping baby warm is easy.
Researching several publications has led me to one universal suggestion....."layering is the key."

Put your baby in one more layer than you are wearing outdoors,  That extra layer can be a blanket to tuck in around the car seat or the stroller seat.  But the hat is so important.  The loss of much heat through the head may or may not be a myth but keeping the little head covered and the ears protected from the cold is a smart precaution.  And their hats can be so cute.

Fresh air is great for baby, as long as you dress your baby appropriately.  Just keep that layering strategy in mind and pass it on to your customers shopping for that new baby.  New mothers can be daunted by the do's and don'ts of dressing a warm baby, so as a retailer you need to research and be a good resource for her.
